Organic food tastes betterPosted: 20 November 2006 Sunday Herald Sun, November 19, 2006 The Sunday Herald Sun conducted a tasting survey between organic and non-organic pineapples and tomatoes. One hundred percent of people surveyed preferred the organic pineapple and 70 percent preferred the organic tomato. Those surveyed described the organic pineapple as tasting "one thousand times better". "The other is astringent, this is much sweeter," one person said. Many said the non-organic tomatoes had "very tough skin" and a "flour texture", whil the organic tomato had "more tomato flavour". |
